welcome to purple rocks
Welcome to purple territory. We are a class of 17 students. The purple group has been focusing on eyes and light. Earlier in the year we focused on cells and animal kingdoms. We've also examined the changing temperature of air and water. We're doing mirror writing. This year we dissected a cow eyeball and a squid. We took a phenomenal trip to Narragansett Bay with Save the Bay. We've been experimenting with Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. Don't worry, we did not harm the cockroaches! In our notebooks we drew observations of many bay and ocean creatures. Sometimes we explore things in the water, ponds and fields around us - Kelli:). At the end of classes sometimes we play a round of 20 questions with BrainQuest cards. We observe cells in microscopes. If you are in a different state than Rhode Island or a different country, please send us your thoughts,....come to think of it, even if you're in Rhode Island, let us hear from you.

purple is the best group and the best people and the best fun,...we have the best science class in rhode island and the dorkiest teacher in the state/universe - kind of kidding,...daidai out.
This bogger is very cool. Its interesting to see how Cvs Highlander Charter School is learning different things. Good start and hope to see new and interesting things. Keep up the good work!
